After thirty years of teaching elementary and special education classes in public school, I began as an adjunct instructor at Hiram College. I spend most of my days at the James H. Barrow Biological Field Station where I am involved in projects such as growing produce to feed field station animals, raising pawpaw trees, collecting phenology data and working on nature displays. My interests include hiking, learning about native plants and pollinators, teaching children about nature and spending time with my family.
