Jackie was born and raised in nearby Cuyahoga Falls. She attended Walsh University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree. During her time at Walsh, she studied in Rome for a semester. She credits her study abroad experience with ultimately making her an advocate for a liberal arts degree. Jackie previously worked for the City of Canton and AVI Foodsystems at Malone University. Jackie currently resides in Cuyahoga Falls with her soon-to-be husband and their two pups, Argyle and Avett.

During her undergraduate research, Jackie’s thesis focused on The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company’s founder, F.A. Seiberling and his management style. Jackie enjoys local history and digging through archives.
Jackie loves live music and incorporating concerts and festivals into her travels. As a healthy food enthusiast, Jackie enjoys preparing healthy meals and tricking people into trying them. She is a regular gym goer, and recently started biking. One of Jackie’s favorite accomplishments, one she rarely speaks of, is her undergraduate work with Stark County Vietnam Veterans. She, alongside her classmates interviewed Vietnam Veterans and compiled oral histories which were published in a book, “At War and At Home: Vietnam Veteran’s Oral Histories”. Jackie is proud of this accomplishment as she believes preserving the history of the Vietnam War Era is extremely important.
