The Good Doctor
This Broadway hit comedy is a composite of Neil Simon and the works of the Russian writer Anton Chekhov. It’s a series of short stories acted out in two acts. In one sketch, a father takes his son to a house to initiate him into the mysteries of sex; in another a crafty seducer goes to work on a married woman, and let us not forget the classic tale of a man who offers to drown himself for three rubles. The stories are fast-paced, the humor infectious, and the fun unending.
