The Art and Science of Reading: A Friends of the Library Event

How do we teach children to read? Why do some of us read better than others? How can we improve reading fluency?

Timothy Rasinski, Ph.D., professor and Rebecca Tolle and Burton W. Gorman Chair in Educational Leadership at Kent State University, has written over 200 articles and authored, co-authored, or edited 50 books or curriculum programs on reading education.
