A total solar eclipse will take place for approximately 3 minutes and 49 seconds. Luckily for us, Portage County will be in the line of viewing!

Join us for viewing, raffles, snacks, and educational activities hosted by the James H. Barrow Biological Field Station, Hiram College Library, and Hiram clubs and organizations as we prepare for this monumental viewing moment! Viewing glasses will be provided on a first come, first serve basis – registration is required to receive glasses. Glasses distribution will begin at 1 p.m. with the eclipse taking place at approximately 3:15 p.m.
