The Intercultural Forum (I.F.) Dinner and Show is an annual event hosted by the I.F. Club. This year’s event is on February 23, 2019. The Dinner is from 4:30 – 6 p.m. on the second floor of the Kennedy Center , and the Show is from 6:30-8:30 p.m in Hayden Auditorium.
The Dinner showcases around a dozen different dishes from all parts of the world. Usually, the dinner incorporates food from the various cultures present on campus. This year’s dinner will be featuring dishes from Spain, Palestine, France, Latin America, Mexico, Bhutan, Denmark, and Pakistan. Tickets will be available at the Hiram College Welcome Center, as well as from I.F. members, and will be $8 for Hiram students, $15 for the community, $5 for children between the ages of five and twelve, and children under the age of five will not be charged.
The I.F. Show immediately follows the Dinner, and is of no cost. There will be around a dozen performances also representing the diverse cultures present in the Hiram community. These will include performances like Bollywood dancing, American Sign Language, Bharathanatyam dancing, Tango, Irish dancing, and an African performance. This event has remained one of Hiram’s oldest traditions and is loved and appreciated by Hiram students, faculty, and the local community. Please join us in celebrating the diversity of the Hiram campus. We hope to see you all there!
