Hiram College requires that all students, faculty and staff become fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Students, faculty and staff must receive both doses of a two-dose primary vaccine or one dose of a single-dose vaccine.
Effective Feb. 4, 2022, all students, faculty and staff must receive the booster vaccination (once they are eligible) in addition to the primary COVID-19 vaccinations. The College has chosen to amend the COVID-19 vaccination policy as booster shots have been shown to keep individuals and communities safer against COVID-19.
Hiram College strongly recommends that you receive a booster vaccine as soon as you are able to increase resistance to COVID-19. The Julia Church Health Center does offer vaccinations on campus and at no cost. To receive your vaccine, please contact the Health Center at 330.569.5418.
If addition, you can use Rite Aid’s COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment Scheduler to book an appointment with the Rite Aid near campus (10764 North Street, Garrettsville, OH 44231). You can also use the Vaccine Management Solution from the Ohio Department of Health to book an appointment with a vaccination clinic in your area.

Testing for Unvaccinated Individuals
All unvaccinated students, faculty and staff on campus will be tested regularly at the Health Center throughout the semester. Anyone eligible to receive the booster vaccine but has not done so will also be tested regularly and charged for testing as well.
Due to a recent change in Ohio Department of Health funding, the College will no longer be able to provide free COVID-19 testing at the Health Center. Unvaccinated individuals who must adhere to regular testing will be charged $160 for testing in the spring 2022 semester.
