Schedule of Events


Phi Beta Kappa Induction (Dix, Kennedy Center): 8:30 a.m. 

Nurse Pinning Ceremony (Hayden Auditorium, Bates Hall): 9:30 a.m. 

Bookstore Hours (Kennedy Center): 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. 

Bistro Hours (Kennedy Center): 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

First Brunch Session (Dining Hall): 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Second Brunch Session (Dining Hall): Noon – 1:30 p.m.

Class Photo (Price Gymnasium, Coleman Athletic Center): 12:45 p.m.

Student line-up in cap and gown (Price Gymnasium, Coleman Athletic Center): 1:15 p.m.

Commencement  (Martin Field House, Coleman Athletic Center): 2 p.m.

Please note that two guests per student will be allowed in Martin Field House for the ceremony. All additional guests may attend the Commencement Watch Party on Charles A. Henry Field to watch commencement via livestream on the football scoreboard. Please refer to Registration and Tickets for details.


Phi Beta Kappa membership has long been recognized as the highest distinction an individual can receive for scholarly excellence in undergraduate studies in the liberal arts and sciences.  Founded in 1776, Phi Beta Kappa is the nation’s oldest undergraduate honors society.  The official induction ceremony into Phi Beta Kappa will take place Saturday, May 14 at 8:30am in Dix Dining Room located in the Kennedy Center.


The Department of Nursing will host a ceremonial pinning for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Class of 2022 on Saturday, May 14 at 9:30 a.m. in Hayden Auditorium, located in Bates Hall.  


All graduating students must be in Price Gymnasium in cap and gown no later than 12:45 p.m. for class photo. Line-Up will follow.
