Hiram College

Welcome to Booth/Centennial (BC)!

Booth Hall and Centennial Hall (BC) are two connected buildings with an outdoor patio at the main entrance. BC contains two common lounges and is home to the student run, vegetarian Stone Soup Co-op. Starting in Fall 2020, both Booth and Centennial will be co-ed halls and house upper-class students.

Some special features of BC are a central office located in between the two buildings, two common area recreation/study lounges (Deyoung and Fenton) and the BC lawn, which features a fire pit and patio. These two buildings share many commonalities, yet have some unique differences as well.

BC is also home to the Stone Soup Co-op. This is a dining option for vegetarian meals. Members of the Co-op plan, cook and serve their own meals. They are responsible for all aspects of their dining experience, instead of eating in the dining hall.

Booth is comprised of three floors. Ground-level Booth offers single rooms for upper-class men while the first and the second floors are co-ed by room. Booth is also home to a series of ADA rooms, double rooms, one quad, two singles, a ground-floor lounge, vending, laundry and clubrooms. All rooms contain a desk, dresser and closet per person.

Centennial is also comprised of three floors. Ground-level Centennial offers single rooms for upper-class women, while the first and the second floors are co-ed by room. Besides the standard double, Centennial features quad rooms and super single rooms. All rooms contain a desk, dresser and closet per person. Centennial features a ground-floor lounge, a new 24-hour quiet study lounge on the second floor, a floor lounge on the first floor and laundry.
