Housing Sign-Ups Timeline 2020 - 2021

February 3 Post preliminary housing information to www.hiram.edu
February 7 Lottery Groupings posted to Student Portal

All questions regarding housing groupings must be received in writing to Residential Education by February 12th at 5:00 pm

February 14 Lottery Numbers posted on Student Portal
February 21 East Hall, Townhouse, and All Gender applications available; go to Housing Applications and Forms

Returning Student Housing contracts (required $100.00 deposit) and Townhouse leases (required $250.00 deposit) available in the Student Accounts Office

March 9-13 Spring Break
March 27 East Hall, Townhouse, Henry Honors Hall, and All Gender Housing applications due by 11:59 pm.  Medical Housing Requests due to Dr. Kevin Feisthamel
April 3 East Hall, Townhouse, and All Gender Housing notifications made 
April 6 Emails will be sent to students which will include the link to the Returning Student Contract and floor plans for them to review and choose which hall and room they are requesting for fall.
April 6 – 30

Students will complete the online Returning Student Contract and rooms will be assigned using the lottery numbers that students were given in February (rooms will NOT be assigned based on when the form is submitted).

On the Returning Student Contract students will be able to list their preferences for hall, floor, and room number.  If a student has been approved for specialty housing, their contracts will be specific to that location.

Housing assignments will be sent out to all returning students via their Hiram email.
