We’ll begin on the Green near the Hinsdale Arch and end with dessert under the Gerstacker Arch. 9 – 11 p.m.Gazing at the Stars from the HillJames Guilford, Hiram’s volunteer caretaker of the Stephens Memorial Observatory, will open the doors of the observatory for an open house so you can learn about Hiram’s unique telescope and gaze at the stars. With good visibility, you have a chance to see beautiful ringed Saturn, a close-up of the Moon, and maybe even Mars. Meet in front of the Kennedy Center to catch a golf cart ride.
