Warren Blazy III ’00
Senior Vice President, Jones Lang LaSalle
Management Major
For Warren Blazy ’00, the connection to Hiram College began long before he stepped foot on campus as an enrolled student. Both of his parents attended Hiram in the 1990s, and having grown up in Northeast Ohio, Blazy knew the campus well. As a child, he would visit the campus pool for swimming lessons, and during his high school years, he worked in the College’s dining services department. “Hiram is just a part of who I am,” says Blazy.
After graduating from Hiram, Blazy began a career in sales and eventually corporate real estate, working for firms such as CBRE and the Staubach Company. Blazy now serves as the senior vice president for Jones Lang LaSalle in their Great Lakes Region Corporate Services Division, a company he has been with for over 12 years. In his role, Blazy works in the Northeast Ohio area to provide support to corporate clients in their real estate transactions, assisting business and political leaders with financial modeling, strategic planning, and leveraged negotiations. According to Blazy, his liberal arts background from Hiram College has helped him in his career to address issues from multiple perspectives and adapt to the circumstances of his clients.
Continuing his family’s connection to Hiram, Blazy has served on the College’s Alumni Executive Board, providing staff and administrators with advice and feedback on programming, events, and activities from the point of view of a Hiram graduate. He plans to remain close to Hiram and the friends he made while earning his degree. “The connections have lasted a lifetime,” he says.
