What Makes Hiram College a Transfer-Friendly College?
At Hiram College, we take pride in striving to be one of the best colleges for transfer students. Our unique 12+3 semester structure allows for lighter course loads and promotes better long-term learning. This also provides students of all majors the opportunity to engage in riveting internships, hands-on research, and immersive study away/abroad programs while participating in athletics or various clubs on campus.
We’re committed to being a transfer-friendly college. How?
First of all, we’re offering direct admission to all transfer students who hold an associate degree and have a cumulative GPA of 2.4 or above. If you meet these requirements, you can be confident you’ll be admitted! Just submit a quick, free application:
Plus, all admitted transfer students are eligible to receive a merit-based scholarship ranging from $4,000-$10,000 annually. Transfer students are able to enroll at multiple entry points over the course of the academic year.
Hiram College is dedicated to giving students as much credit as possible toward their degree program. A minimum of 45 semester credits are required to be earned through Hiram in order to graduate with a Hiram degree.
Striving to Be One of the Best Colleges for Transfer Students in Ohio
Hiram works closely with each student to review their transcripts from previous institutions to determine which credits are transferrable. As an Ohio transfer-friendly college, we understand how important it is to keep communication open with our transfer students, so we’re here to make the process of transferring as easy as possible.
