WHAT MAKES HIRAM COLLEGE DIFFERENT?
Hiram’s unique 12+3 semester structure allows for lighter course loads and promotes better long-term learning. This also provides students of all majors the opportunity to engage in riveting internships, hands-on research, and immersive study away/abroad while participating in athletics or various clubs on campus. Additionally, as part of Hiram’s Tech and Trek program, transfer students will receive an iPad, keyboard, and Apple Pencil along with a pair of hiking boots.
All admitted transfer students are eligible to receive a merit based scholarship ranging from $4,000-$10,000 annually. Transfer students are able to enroll at multiple entry points over the course of the academic year.
Hiram College is dedicated to giving students as much credit as possible towards their degree program. A minimum of 45 semester credits are required to be earned through Hiram in order to graduate with a Hiram degree.
SIMPLIFYING THE PROCESS
Hiram works closely with each student to review their transcripts from previous institutions to determine which credits are transferrable. If you want to get ahead of the game before admission to see what equivalencies are already in place, visit Transferology. For more information, please contact admission counselor, Sally Hoffman, or visit the Hiram College Catalog.
Phi Theta Kappa’s 2022 Transfer Honor Roll
Hiram has been named to Phi Theta Kappa’s 2022 Transfer Honor Roll, which recognizes excellence in the development and support of dynamic and innovative transfer pathways for community college transfer students.
MAXIMIZE THE IMPORTANCE OF YOUR ASSOCIATES DEGREE!
At Hiram we see the value of the unique skillset your associates degree provides! Students who have earned their associates degree or students who have earned 64 or more credits may transfer those credits as a block. This way, eligible students will meet the Core/Urgent Challenge Curriculum of Hiram College without taking additional general education courses!
