There are many payment options available to assist you and your family cover your educational expenses. Below we have outlined options available, along with a few resources.
We know this process can feel overwhelming – know that we are available to assist you in forming the right financing plan.
Payment Plan
The college offers a 4-payment/semester payment plan to help ease the financial obligations. There is a fee to enroll in the payment plan which is made with the first payment, but there is no interest on the payment plan. Students enroll in the payment plan through their eBill and selecting the appropriate payment plan based upon their student status.
Parent loans
Another option available to parents of dependent students is the Federal Direct PLUS Loan (Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students). The PLUS Loan is borrowed and repaid by a parent to assist with covering educational costs. Like most borrowing, this loan is not guaranteed but is based upon a parent’s credit-worthiness. Private student loans
Private Student Loans are loans beyond the Federal Direct Subsidized and/or Federal Direct Unsubsidized loans included as part of their financial aid offer. These are loans borrowed through a private lender specifically for educational expenses. These loans are not guaranteed and most students will require a co-borrower for approval. his loan is not guaranteed but is based upon a parent’s credit-worthiness. TERRIER CASH
Terrier Cash is a pre-paid account that can be used in the Hiram College Bookstore, and any of the dining venues on campus. This account is separate from the student bill. Furthermore, any unspent Terrier Cash will remain available until such time that the student is no longer enrolled at Hiram College. No refunds are given at any time.

HOUSING DEPOSIT

STUDENT MEAL
Student Meal Block Plans includes three meal plans available to all commuter, townhouse and Center for Adult Studies students. Plans carry over from Fall to Spring. Plans do not carryover into the next school year, including the Block Meal Plan-Terrier Cash. No refunds are given at any time.
