2023-24 HIRAM COLLEGE GLOBAL SCHOLARSHIPS
To ensure full consideration, a completed application for admission should be received no later than May 1st for the fall 2023 intake and no later than October 1st for the spring 2024 intake. There is no separate scholarship application. Scholarships are based on academic excellence.
International Global Scholarship: Amount varies
International students are required to submit all admission documents to qualify for this scholarship. The Admission staff considers all applicants for Global Scholarships based on academic excellence and extracurricular distinction. Scholarships can range from $8,000 to $10,000 per year, up to 4 years.
Estimated Direct Cost of Attendance For Freshman/New Transfer Students Is:
Tuition $26, 265
Room (double) $5,510 and Meal Plan $5,510.
Total: $37,285.
In addition to the above direct costs (things you will be directly billed for by Hiram College) and the New Student Institute Fee of $100, international students should expect after the Global Scholarship to pay around $28,000 per year and can expect to pay approximately $2,995 for books, supplies, travel and personal expenses. These are considered indirect costs and are things you will pay for out-of-pocket.
International Transfer Scholarship: Amount varies
Students with more than 12 transfer credits and an equivalent to a minimum grade point average (GPA) of a 2.5 on a 4.0 grading scale will be considered for a transfer scholarship.
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship: $1,000 per year
(in addition to the transfer global scholarship)
International students who are members of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society will be awarded an additional $1,000 scholarship per year.
International Alumni/Sibling Grant
Awarded to any international student who has a family member currently studying or a recent alumni of Hiram College; including parents, grandparents and siblings.
