Stay on Track
In college, there are bound to be obstacles. Thrive professional staff helps you students find the best ways to approach barriers and obstacles in the college environment. We offer several resources designed to help you students stay focused and on track for graduation.
Check-In Meetings
Each student at Thrive is assigned a Progress Advisor to meet with regularly and discuss their progress in coursework and classroom expectations so that they can stay on top of academic activities. These meetings help identify emerging challenges and create a clear plan for student success. Progress Advisors also support student’s emotional well-being during college.
Executive Functioning Support
Thrive professional staff work with students who need extra assistance with planning and scheduling college expectations and tasks. Our executive functioning coaches work with students through a training model where gradual release of responsibility allows for skills to be obtained for long-term success. Our goal is to help students take control of their day-to-day schedule and find a healthy balance between your academic and personal life.
Course Selection
Thrive’s Progress Advisors act as a student’s secondary academic advisor, to ensure the completion of all requirements needed for a degree. Students that are a part of the Thrive community receive priority course registration when scheduling coursework.
