Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID, the Tech and Trek Conference has moved to a 1-day, free online conference. We will continue to provide updates on the site as details are confirmed.
The deadline for proposals has now passed. Proposal submitters will receive word ASAP regarding their proposal submission status.
We are going online, because we just couldn’t wait another year to see you!
In its first two years, the Tech and Trek Conference has energized our study of learning technologies while creating a family of dedicated professionals who are passionate about teaching and learning, tech-ing and trekking.
Yes, family. This is why the Planning Committee decided to move the conference online as opposed to canceling. We want to see and hear from you again!
All of us who use technology know that flexibility is a great virtue. We always have to be prepared with a Plan B, or C, or D, when technology doesn’t behave as we would like it to. This year, our challenge is COVID-19, and safety is paramount. So, we are pivoting from a three-day face-to-face conference to our Plan B, a one-day remote conference, with all presentations delivered via web-conferencing. And our special focus will be how we have adapted and excelled in the new teaching environment that closed out the 2019-2020 academic year.
We are very excited about learning from all of you, how you have adapted, where you have succeeded, and even where you have failed. Every strategy any of us have tried is a strategy all of us can learn from.
We look forward to seeing you – online – in June!
|Participants can register for a 1 GEDU credit course, Tech and Trek: A Response to COVID-19 for a fee of $175.00. To apply for this credit, please complete this form by June 26, 2020.
