Hiram College

Education and Community Outreach

Hiram College's James H. Barrow Biological Field Station is home to nature education programming and summer camps for people of all ages. A wide variety of special events and programming are held throughout the year. We also offer field trips and instructional programs for school groups, scout troops, and other organizations that want to visit the JHBBFS. These trips can be selected from our offerings which are based on Ohio Learning Standards or tailored to individual groups. Each summer, Field Station staff, students and Hiram faculty conduct summer camps for kids of all ages.

Join us for our Summer Camps

Due to the State of Ohio’s Stay at Home order, Hiram College has canceled all in-person campus activities, including Summer camps at the James H. Barrow Biological Field Station, until further notice. We thank you for your understanding.
