The James H. Barrow Biological Field Station and Northwoods Field Station invites Hiram College students to apply for internships and employment.
Summer internships are paid and housing in a Hiram residence hall or the bunkhouse is provided for JHBBFS interns and sleeping cabins are available at the Northwoods Field Station. Internships are available from anywhere from 2-15 weeks during the summer. Our interns work side by side Field Stations faculty and staff and our partner organizations.

- Northwoods Caretaker Apprenticeship
Internships are announced to all students via campus email, when applications are open – usually during the middle of the spring semester. We are currently accepting applications for Summer 2020. The deadline to apply is 21 February 2020.

Minimum requirements for applicants include the following:
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Good academic standing at Hiram College
- Continuation at Hiram College through the following academic year
