To apply for a faculty-led Study Abroad trip, complete the following:
- Study Abroad application
- Health information form
- Recommendation form (To be filled out by a faculty or staff member. You need three faculty or staff recommendations and one should be your faculty advisor.)
- Parent waiver (Even if you are an adult, unless you are emancipated or independent, you need your parents to complete this form. This form should be completed, signed, and returned to The Study Away Office in the Kennedy Center (first floor) or by email at gatrellnr@hiram.edu.)
- Student waiver (This form should be completed, signed, and returned to the Study Away Office in the Kennedy Center (first floor) or by email at gatrellnr@hiram.edu.)
- $75 Non-refundable fee (cash or check payable to “Hiram College”) to be delivered to the Study Away Office in the Kennedy Center (first floor). (Please email gatrellnr@hiram.edu to set up a time.)
- Hiram College Study Abroad Scholarship Application (Optional. For fall trips, all completed applications should be submitted no later than March 8th (the same day that your Study Abroad application is due). For spring trips, all completed applications should be submitted no later than October 7th (the same day your Study Abroad application is due).
To apply for an exchange program, please visit the Study Away Office in the Kennedy Center (first floor) to discuss what is needed to apply.
To apply to Hiram College as an exchange visitor, please contact Nicole Gatrell (gatrellnr@hiram.edu) for more information.
The application includes GPA requirements. When you are officially accepted into the program and have registered for the course(s), your account will be charged the entire cost of the trip.
