LEARN BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
Prior to applying, please review the following:
To apply for a faculty-led Study Abroad trip, complete the following:
- Study Abroad application
- Health information form
- Recommendation form (To be filled out by a faculty or staff member. You need three faculty or staff recommendations and one should be your faculty advisor.)
- Parent waiver (Even if you are an adult, unless you are emancipated or independent, you need your parents to complete this form. This form should be completed, signed, and returned to Matthew Notarian in Pendleton House or by email at notarianmf@hiram.edu.)
- Student waiver (This form should be completed, signed, and returned to Matthew Notarian in Pendleton House or by email at notarianmf@hiram.edu.)
- $75 Non-refundable fee (cash or check payable to “Hiram College”) paid at the Cashier window in Teachout-Price.
- Hiram College Study Abroad Scholarship Application (Optional. For fall trips, all completed applications should be submitted no later than March 8th (the same day that your Study Abroad application is due). For spring trips, all completed applications should be submitted no later than October 8th (the same day your Study Abroad application is due).
