One-credit lessons cost $250 a semester.
However, Performing Arts majors as well as students enrolled in Hiram College ensembles can apply for lesson scholarships to help cover the cost.
Performing Arts majors take lessons for two credits, while all other students on campus take lessons for one credit. Each hour of credit equals a thirty minute lesson once a week for the 12-week semester.
Students can engage in voice, conducting, or composition lessons, or choose from a variety of instrumental lessons: Bassoon, Cello, Clarinet, Double Bass, Euphonium, Flute, French Horn, Guitar, Harp, Oboe, Percussion, Piano, Saxophone, Trombone, Tuba, Viola, and Violin.
