Understanding environmental issues

Understanding environmental issues requires knowledge of natural and human social systems and the ways they interact – and this knowledge can only be gained through the integration of different perspectives. At Hiram College, our integrated environmental studies degree program focuses on developing your abilities to incorporate concepts relevant to environmental issues from across multiple disciplines and to communicate those concepts in important ways.
