AIBS membership is open to any interested student. Activities of the group have included a Fall AIBS Mixer, to help underclassmen experience the various options for research present on campus; a community service program, kiddy trick-or-treating, to expose children to biology in a fun manner; a Graduate School Seminar, where recent PhD graduates and professors spoke of their experiences in graduate school and gave helpful hints; a Research Internship Seminar, in which students who had experience with internships explained the process and where to look for internships; participation in the campus wide Earth Day Celebration and a trip to the Cleveland Natural History Museum.
If you are a student interested in joining the Hiram College Student Chapter of AIBS please contact Vicki Kohn.
