Hiram College has a unique academic schedule which allows our faculty to lead field courses off campus within the United States. Many of our faculty have taught courses in Alaska, the Southwest, Florida, and the Great Smoky Mountains.
Marine Ecology
The program includes studies dealing with marine organisims, including Black Horn Snails, Mangrove Periwinkle Snails, common marine birds, and common marine vegetation. |
The Galapagos Islands
This Study Abroad program focuses on the natural history of the Galapagos Islands, which figure prominently in the writing of Charles Darwin. |
