Hiram and Beyond
In addition to gaining professional experience working as art gallery or studio assistants, art & design majors have the opportunity to study abroad as part of their learning experience. Students can also apply for internships at area art institutions, such as the Cleveland Museum of Art, Museum of Contemporary Art, and other non-profit or commercial institutions.
Hiram graduates have gone on to find success in fields such as:
- Commercial photography
- Graphic design
- Media relations
- Medical illustration
- Art law
To further enrich their education, art & design majors can pair their degree with other majors and minors, such as performing arts, creative writing, film studies, psychology, communication, environmental science, and management.
