WHAT ARE GRANTS, FELLOWSHIPS AND SCHOLARSHIPS?
Grants, fellowships and scholarships are funded research, training, teaching and/or work experiences that provide individuals with development opportunities both during and beyond their undergraduate educations. Some fellowships are offered as a means of funding undergraduate or advanced degree programs, while others are independent from graduate programs.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF GRANTS, FELLOWSHIPS AND SCHOLARSHIPS?
Grant, fellowship and scholarship opportunities for students are often nationally and internationally competitive and span the entire range of academic fields including the humanities, the hard and life sciences, social sciences and business. Such programs provide students with opportunities for studying abroad, conducting original research, networking and/or gaining practical experience. Many programs also carry significant academic and professional prestige for awardees, providing them with a competitive edge in their respective career and academic fields.
