Hiram College

For Graduate Students

All students in Hiram’s graduate school pursuing a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (MAIS) are eligible to apply for federal financial aid.  Simply fill out the FAFSA Online and indicate Hiram should receive the processed results.  Hiram’s FAFSA code is 003049.

The estimated cost of the MAIS program for the 2018-2019 academic year is $551 per credit hour and a $150 general fee per semester, which is comparable with other master’s programs.  In addition to the above direct costs (things you will be directly billed for by Hiram College), students can expect to pay approximately $3,095 for books, supplies, travel and personal expenses.  These are considered indirect costs and are things you will pay for out-of-pocket.

Students in the program should inquire if their employer will pay all or part of their tuition.  Many employers understand that graduates of the program will have greater analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills and will be ready for the additional responsibility and new challenges.

A tuition deferment plan is also available for students who qualify.

The Financial Aid Office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays all year, except on national holidays.
