For the safety of our visitors and wildlife, dogs must be leashed at all times and waste must be picked up. Colored tags and tree markings are located along the trail system to help you find your way.
The trails are maintained by JHBBFS staff and students and are natural surface trails. We suggest hiking shoes or boots for your safety as you will likely encounter rocks, roots, and mud.
Fires, grills, hunting, fishing, trapping, swimming, wading, and camping are prohibited. Alcohol is not permitted on the trail system or in pavilions. Please do not pick flowers or collect plants, animals, or other materials. We also ask that you do not interfere with research plots or equipment.
