Hiram College

Meet Our Former Scholars

Past Emerging Scholars are highly respected students who have, in their own right, earned a reputation of excelling as leaders, athletes, and scholars. Some are, for example, Resident Assistants, Course Assistants, Orientation Leaders, and Peer Mentors, to name a few. Several have received high academic honors as members of the Garfield Center for Public Leadership and the Alpha Society. Scholars have also participated in study away trips to Greece, Great Britain, and France while others have completed a summer internship at the Washington Center in Washington D.C. At Hiram, the sky is the limit!

Even though there are many people in the program you will always get the help you need and have somebody to go and talk to while you are stressing out about finals or anything or event that’s going on. It also gives you the ability to make new friends right out of high school so you do not feel alone.
