SCHOLARSHIP and Grant Opportunities
With a variety of scholarship and grant opportunities available, Hiram College is an affordable option. Check out our offerings below. Applying is easy.
Hiram College offers affiliation grants and merit scholarships that are renewable for up to four years. The admission staff considers all applicants for merit scholarships and are selected in a holistic manner for academic excellence, extracurricular distinction, personal motivation, and character. A separate application is not required.
HOW TO APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL AID
Step 1: Fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at https://studentaid.gov/ as soon as possible after December 1st. Include Hiram’s FAFSA code, 003049, on your FAFSA to ensure Hiram receives your information.
Step 2: Apply for admission. A separate scholarship application is not required.
Step 3: Wait for the results. We mail an all-inclusive financial aid packet that will include your award notification on an ongoing basis.
TUITION, FINANCES AND PLANNING INFORMATION
Take a look at the costs below to help with your financial planning.
When completing the FAFSA, please be sure to list HIRAM COLLEGE’S SCHOOL CODE (003049) so that Hiram receives your information from the U.S. Department of Education. You should apply for financial aid as soon as possible AFTER it opens for the year you wish to start at Hiram College. FAFSA opens each year on October 1st.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Apply and be accepted to Hiram College
In addition to completing the FAFSA, you must also be admitted to Hiram College prior to receiving an official financial aid award from us. If you have not yet started your admission application or been accepted, start your application now.
Verification
Some students are selected for a process called “verification”. If you have been selected for verification, you will be notified by our office regarding the necessary documents needed to complete this process.
