Welcome to the Western Reserve Book Festival – a celebration of the authors and literature of Ohio's Western Reserve and beyond.
Join us on the beautiful campus of Hiram College in Hiram, Ohio. Meet more than forty authors from the Western Reserve area, have your books signed (copies will be available for purchase), attend panels and take in all the great literature of the area. The Festival, co-sponsored by the Friends of the Hiram College Library and the Lindsay-Crane Center for Writing and Literature, is free and open to the public.

Friends of the Hiram College Library
Since its founding in 1984, the Friends of the Library group has contributed more than half a million dollars in support of the library. Friends of the Library strive to meet the changing scholarly and educational needs of the future, including the new learning, research and recreational needs of the faculty, students and staff. The Friends also pursue ways to meet the needs of members residing in the surrounding Hiram community.
Hiram College Lindsay-Crane Center for Writing and Literature
One of Hiram College's eight Centers of Distinction, the Lindsay-Crane Center for Writing and Literature makes possible special opportunities that contribute to intellectual and artistic pleasure and growth for all Hiram College writers and readers. Named for two poets with close ties to Northeast Ohio – Nicholas Vachel Lindsay and Harold Hart Crane – the Center is committed to outreach to the wider community through partnerships with local institutions and events at schools and libraries. The Center also engages in interdisciplinary ventures with other departments and Centers at the College.

Hiram College Bistro
The Bistro, located within the Kennedy Center at the back of the first floor lounge, will be open all day with selection of coffee, fruit smoothies, pastries, soup, salads, sandwiches.
StrEat Mobile Bistro
The Mobile Bistro will be on site from 11 am to 2 pm. StrEat Mobile Bistro is one of Northeast Ohio's award winning gourmet food trucks inspired by local and seasonal ingredients, really fun foods or simply any opportunity to create some deliciousness. Select from items such as Ohio pulled pork ciabatta topped with a mango slaw, chicken burrito with a chipotle corn salsa, mac & cheese bar with choose of toppings, grilled veggies, or curry dish over organic brown rice, chili bar.
East Coast Original Frozen Custard
In business since 1985, the East Coast Original Frozen Custard food truck will be on site from 1 to 4 pm and offers a variety of custard flavors and toppings, sundaes, waffle cones, root beer floats, and shakes.
