Campus Visits and Open Houses

There are many ways to visit Hiram College. Choose which type of visit works best for you.

Individual Visit Days

Individual visits allow students to customize their Hiram College tour any way they want. Students with specific academic or athletic interests may set up a meeting with a coach or a professor. Financial Aid advisers can talk about the FAFSA process and payment options. A campus tour is also included with individual visits.

Weekdays from 8:30 to 3 p.m. throughout the entire year.

Small Group Saturdays

If you can't visit us during the week, a Small Group Saturday tour is a great introduction to the Hiram College campus. Students and families will listen to an Admission presentation, followed by a campus tour and lunch. Please note: Individual interviews are not available on Saturdays.

Most Saturdays from September through May, starting at 10 a.m.

Experience Hiram

Experience Hiram visit days offer students a glimpse at academic life. Based on a student's interest or intended major, we hand pick a class to sit in on. The day will include interaction with current students and professors and exposure to our hands-on learning style.

Spring dates: Jan. 27, Feb. 17 and March 24, 2014

High school seniors can participate in an overnight visit and stay in a Residence Hall with a current student. You will arrive between 5:30 and 6:00. Once you get here, you will meet your student host and enjoy the night. In the morning you will meet up with your parents for an admission information session then go sit in on a class. While you are in class, your parents will go on a tour of campus. You will meet up again for lunch and then be free to go enjoy the rest of your day.

Spring dates: Feb. 5-6; Feb. 27-28; March 18-19
