History Rocks – $140

July 1-3, 2018 (9:00am-5:00pm) for ages 11-14

Daily hikes will take us to and through some of the remarkable geologic history of Northeast Ohio. Our goal is to discover first-hand the rocks that define Ohio’s ancient past. Bedrock, fossils and rock collecting highlight our days. Prepare for some long hikes and steep climbs on paths through places like Hell Hollow, Indian Point, rocky ledges, sand and gravel quarries and more. Think of it as an awesome field trip 500 million years in the making! Transportation and all expenses are included. Students provide their own lunches.
