Art for Older Kids – $65
June 11-15 (1:00-3:00pm) for students entering grades 6, 7, 8
Middle School artists will enjoy working with a variety of materials in more sophisticated applications. We will explore architecture by building 3D models of structures using foam core, make pop-up Father’s Day cards, create wire sculptures, paint their own t-shirt and practice figure drawing and sketching in nature. Each student will make their own leather-bound sketchbook. The week will culminate in a special gallery show for family and friends on Friday at 2:30. Please send students with a plain white or very light colored cotton or 50/50 t-shirt (or pillowcase) to paint.
