What is the 2008 emerging writers workshop in creative nonfiction?
At Hiram College’s Emerging Writers Workshop, promising young authors will develop their voice and hone their writing skills in the expanding genre of creative nonfiction. In this three-day residential learning experience on the Hiram College campus, students with a passion for writing will work closely with Hiram faculty to create new work, revise existing pieces, and use research creatively to enhance their writing. One session will focus on writing about place in the fields and woods at the Hiram College Field Station. The workshop will conclude with a public reading of students’ work that family and friends are encouraged to attend. The Emerging Writers Workshop fosters the authors of tomorrow.
