Global Institute for Management and Leadership
Hiram College is offered two certificate programs for graduate and undergraduate students this summer, focusing on global business management, business IT and e-commerce, during summer 2013.
The program was open to both global and domestic students. Classes take place on Hiram’s campus in Northeast Ohio, and participants will travel across the region for workshops, industry visits and sightseeing.
The non-credit certificate programs took place from May 31-July 2, 2013, and June 24-July 29, 2013. For each session, students will have the opportunity to earn certificates in either Information Technology and Operation Management or Management of Multinational Companies.
The exchange program is designed to give the international students a taste of the American diverse education practices and liberal arts experience that fit with their aspirations and career paths in global professional environment.
Participants will work with Hiram College faculty in the areas of English comprehension, business management, information technology, management of multinational corporations and internet marketing. The students will live on campus, and will visit other universities, attend cultural events, visit landmarks and interact with businesses and business leaders in northeast Ohio, western Pennsylvania and beyond.
