Hiram Fine Arts Workshop
July 14 - 16, 2013 (residential)

A focused exploration of the visual arts for high school students with a passion for art.

What is the Hiram Fine Arts Workshop?

The Hiram Fine Arts Workshop engages up-and-coming high school artists in a variety of activities designed to expand their artistic abilities and aesthetic judgment, foster advanced visual skills, and provide a sample of the college experience.

The Hiram Fine Arts Workshop will meet July 14 - 16, 2013. Students with a passion for art will devote themselves to printmaking, painting and drawing. At the end of the workshop, families and friends will be invited to campus for a show of the artwork that was created during the program. This three-day, summer learning experience will be held on the Hiram College campus, located in Hiram, Ohio.

Who conducts the Hiram Fine Arts Workshop?

Chris Ryan is the Chair and Associate Professor of Art and has been teaching painting and drawing at Hiram College for nine years.  Professor Ryan has also taught art in Florence, Italy.

When and where is the Hiram Fine Arts Workshop?

The Hiram Fine Arts Workshop will be held on July 14 - 16, 2013 on the campus of Hiram College, a 45-minute drive from Cleveland and Akron. Participants will stay two nights in a Hiram College residence hall.
