Summer at Hiram
Summer Academies for High School Students
Hiram College's summer academies provide an enriched residential learning experience for high school students with a wide range of interests. Our summer academies are hands-on. Though some classroom instruction is involved, students will spend much of their time applying their skills in the lab, on the stage, in the field and more. Hiram faculty and students participate as teachers and mentors in our summer academies, giving high school students an exposure to and preparation for college-level academics and campus life.
Hiram College will award a $1,000 Summer Academy Scholarship to every high school student who attends a 2015 summer academy and enrolls as a full time student at Hiram College. Only one Summer Academy Scholarship will be awarded per new student. The scholarship is renewable up to four years. (For a total of $4,000 in scholarship award at $1,000 per year for four years.)
