Business Management
The business management concentration is offered in the context of the liberal arts tradition. Managers are essentially decision makers who must possess the ability to reason clearly and to express themselves effectively. Courses required for the management program strengthen the student's skills and enable them to pursue professional interests in management and business.
Major Requirements
To satisfy the requirements for a business management major, a student must complete all of the required economics and management courses and 36 semester hours from the list of correlative courses in communication, computer science, management, mathematics, political science, psychology, sociology and writing. Transfer students will be required to complete at least 35 hours of Hiram College coursework within the major (combination of required courses and correlative courses).
