Online Communication 

The communication program is available both as a fully online degree program and as a ground-based degree program at Hiram College.

Students will explore the role of communication in all aspects of life through varied coursework in this major. Skills developed while taking coursework in this degree program include: writing, public speaking, interpersonal communication, and critical thinking. The skills learned through this degree program prepare students to work in a myriad of professions ranging from business, advertising, journalism, government relations and public relations.

Coursework will include public communication, communication theory, and research in communication. Students will select either organizational communication or mediated communication as the area of concentration in the communication major.
