Hiram's new dining hall

Just as the all-suite New Hall opened in August 2008 adding to the quality of our residence halls, a new state-of-the-art dining hall will begin to take shape right across the street and is slated to open in the fall of 2009. The new building will become the primary food service venue on campus, replacing Miller Dining Hall which has served generations of Hiram students.

The highlight of the food court in the $4.5-million facility is a brick pizza and bread oven. The food court area will also feature built-in serving stations offering popular favorites and a rotating selection of student-friendly home-style meals. A large, fresh salad bar will be available every lunch and dinner. The main seating area is designed to seat approximately 425 people and the plan is open, attractive and features a nearly two-story main dining hall lined with floor to ceiling windows. Additionally, there are outdoor patio dining areas, and private rooms for conferences, student group meetings, and more formal occasions. Hiram College is proud to work with our partners at AVI Food Service of Warren, Ohio to offer our students the premier on-campus dining experience they deserve. Come for a visit to Hiram this year and watch the new dining hall take shape!
