The Hiram College women’s swimming & diving team fell at Baldwin Wallace 123-89 on Saturday afternoon.

The Terriers drop to 3-6 on the season, while the Yellow Jackets improve to 3-5.

Freshman Jenni Heid (Stow/Stow-Munroe Falls) led Hiram with a first place finish in the 50-yard freestyle in 26.42 seconds.

Senior Carly Daniels (Mesa, Ariz./Dobson) touched first in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:10.97. She also was second in the 50-yard freestyle in 27.24 seconds.

Junior Rachel Patten (Castalia/Margaretta) finished second in the 500-yard freestyle and 1,000-yard freestyle in 5:53.36 and 12:07.16, respectively. She also touched second in the 200-yard I.M. in 2:33.43.

Junior Megan McBratnie (Berkley, Mich.) was second in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:16.83.

Senior Samantha Polmanteer (Berkley, Mich.) was second in the 1-meter diving with 125.25 points and senior Emily Anderson (Morgantown, W. Va./University) finished right behind in third with 112.80 points.

Hiram will return to action on December 6, when it hosts Bethany (W. Va.) at 1 p.m.
