CLEVELAND, OHIO  —  Hiram College senior women’s soccer player and senior two-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference forward Claire Conner (Aurora) has been named this week’s NCAC Player of the Week.  [NCAC Women’s Soccer Release]

Conner helped lead the Terriers win one of two games last week in which she scored both team goals in a 2-1 victory against Oberlin College on Saturday (Oct. 23).   It marked the first multi-goal game for Conner this season and her seventh overall in her career.

Going into the final week of competition in 2010, Conner is the school’s all-time leader in goals (33), assists (15) and total points (81).  In addition, she owns two Hiram single-season records in goals (13) and points (29).  Both were set during the 2007 season.

Conner, and the rest of the Hiram women’s soccer team, will host Denison University on Saturday (Oct. 30) in the home and season finale at the Hiram Soccer Complex.  It will also be senior day with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m.
