HIRAM, OHIO  —  The Hiram College volleyball team won its season-high 12th straight match with a 3-0 victory against Denison University tonight (Tuesday, Oct. 25) in a North Coast Athletic Conference match at Price Gymnasium.

With the win, the Terriers improve to 24-6 overall and 12-2 in the NCAC.  The Big Red fall to 10-16 overall and 5-9 NCAC.

Hiram captured the first set with the final of 25-13 to take an early 1-0 match lead.  The Terriers then defeated the Big Red in relative ease in the second set, 25-8, to take a 2-0 lead.  In the third set, Hiram put the match away with a 25-18 final to claim the 3-0 shutout and a 12th straight win.

Up next for Hiram will be a matchup against No. 6 nationally-ranked Wittenberg University on Friday, Oct. 28 in a NCAC match at Price Gym.  The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
