Select members of the Hiram College indoor track and field teams competed at the annual North Coast Athletic Conference relay meet today (Saturday, Feb. 2) hosted by Denison University in Granville. [Complete Results]

The women recorded 1.5 points to finish ninth of nine teams. The Terriers were led by senior All-NCAC hurdler Lynne Hutchison (Solon) and sophomore Tiffani Martin (Loudonville)Hutchison crossed the finish line in third place in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.98 seconds. Martin placed in a tie for eighth in the pole vault with a heighth of 7′ 5.0″.

The men did not record any points and finished 10th of 10 teams in the final standings. Hiram had one competitor in freshman Steve Hammond (Huber Heights/Kettering Fairmont) who placed eighth in the 55-meter hurdles posting a time of 8.59 seconds.

The Hiram indoor track teams will compete on Friday, Feb.8 in the second Oberlin College meet of the season in Oberlin. The meet is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
