Hiram quarterback Robert Partridge (Massillon/Massillon Washington) has been selected to play the inaugural Globe Bowl.
The game will be played at Salisbury High School Football Stadium in Allentown, Pa., on April 12, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.
Practices for the game will begin on April 10.
The Globe Bowl is the only post-season spring college football all-star game consisting of top All-American and All-Conference seniors from FCS, D2, D3 and NAIA schools.
This is the second postseason game that Partridge will take part in. He also represented Team USA in the Aztec Bowl in November, throwing for two touchdowns.
This past season, Partridge set school records in passing yards (2,167) and total offense (2,317), helping the Terriers finish with a 5-5 record. The five wins were the most for the program since the 1988 season.
Off the field, Partridge, a political science major, is one of the most active members of the football team in community service events. He is also a scholar of the Garfield Center for Public Leadership – a demanding, rigorous and highly competitive program that selects only 24 students to participate actively in the Garfield Seminars, engage with public leaders on and off campus and demonstrate scholarship.
