The Hiram College men’s swimming & diving team finished 10th of 10 teams at the NCAC Swimming & Diving Championships on the campus of Denison.
Denison won the title for the seventh straight year with 1966.5 points, Kenyon was second with 1758.5 points and DePauw (Ind.) finished third with 1074 points.
The Terriers finished the meet with 249 points.
Freshman Jonathan Ruiz (Freeport, N.Y.) posted the top finish of the championships for Hiram, with a 23rd place finish in the 200-yard butterfly, touching in 2:16.21.
Junior Danny Essel (Euclid) recorded a 28th place finish the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:30.83.
The 400-meter free relay tandem of freshman John Kost (Chantilly, Va./Westfield), freshmanKyle Sarver (Parma/Parma Senior), freshman Rylan Zeis (Newark/Granville) and Ruiz touched 10th with a time of 3:31.41.
This was the final meet of the season for Hiram.
