The Hiram College men’s golf team concluded competition in 2015 with a ninth place finish at the NCAC Championships on Sunday.

The Terriers finished with a four round score of 324-331-328-318-1301 in the nine team field. Wittenberg captured the team title with a 293-295-292-292-1162.

Hiram was led by freshman Kyle Carile (North Royalton) who finished in a tie for 28th. He fired a third round 76, which was just one off his season best and followed it up with a final round 78. Carile finished with a four round total of 317, which was tops on the team.

Freshman Austin Jenkins (North Royalton) fired a 77 over the final 18 holes to finish in 32nd place with a overall socre of 323.

Senior Kyle Meggas (Lakewood) placed 34th after firing his best round of 80 on Sunday. Meggas finished with a score of 328.

John Chaney of Wittenberg took home the individual title by firing a 3-under par 285 during the 72-hole tournament.
