Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies Sarah Mabey will give a presentation on conservation and the nature of birds as part of “Audubon’s Birds of America: a month-long celebration of art, wildlife, and conservation.” The Cleveland Public Library celebrates this masterpiece with a lecture series presented by local Audubon experts every Saturday during the month of April.
Mabey’s presentation will be Saturday, April 16, from 1 – 2 p.m. at the main branch of the Cleveland Public Library. She will discuss Audubon’s legacy of conservation and what we can do to help Ohio’s birds. Pages 43-64 of Audubon’s “Birds of America” (Bien edition) will be on display.
Mabey is a member of the Audubon Society of Greater Cleveland.
